Lot of 2 Civil War Ephemera;
Includes printed pages with period ink fill-in information. "Office of the United States Deputy Marshal...Erie, Penn...1862...George W. Silverthorn. Take notice that you have been enrolled as a Citizen, within the township of Conneaut in the said county, liable to Military Service...".
Also, "Attention Soldiers and Widows! You may obtain a Certificate of Honorable Service...Apply to John W. Morris & Co...Washington, D.C.".
Research indicates that George Silverthorn enlisted 15 March 1865 with Co. F. of the 95th Pennsylvania Infantry. He was mustered out 17 July 1865.
Each page is about 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Condition: light soiling, staining, creases, fold lines, edge wear and tears. Please see photos for additional condition review.
