A framed deed, dated 1809, signed by one of America's earliest millionaires, Robert Coleman, and his wife Ann. Between Coleman and his wife, and Anthony Haines of Donegal Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. 5,700 pounds paid to the Colemans by Haines for land in Donegal Twp. Robert Coleman (1748-1825) was an Irish-American immigrant who began as a clerk in Phila. and eventually owned and operated a number of successful iron furnaces in Penna., including the Elizabeth, Colebrook and Cornwall Furnaces.
