Jack Kerouac's Personal "Ace" Double Sided Copy of Junk Fiction "Narcotic Agent" and "Junkie"
Ace Books, Inc., New York. 1953. Double-sided paperback, "Narcotic Agent" and "Junkie". Book is worn, with creased and rubbed wraps. A section of stapled pages from "Junkie" are loose from the binding. Else the pages and binding are intact. Classic junk genre book of the era. Stamped on the title page with both the Jack Kerouac Estate stamp, in addition to the raised blind seal from Executer of the Estate, John Sampus.
Provenance: This piece comes directly from the Estate of Jack Kerouac, via John Shen-Sampas, executor of the Kerouac Estate. John Shen-Sampas is the son of John Sampas, friend and brother-in-law of Jack Kerouac, and the brother of Stella Kerouac, Jack’s wife.
