Description

100% original, 100% complete, and mechanically perfect Frank Wesson 44 caliber rimfire carbine. This one has the added bonus of being stamped by Gun Dealer Ben Kittredge in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kittredge markings always add a premium to desirability and value. Additionally and more interesting is that this rifle has the rear sling swivel mounted in the optional position on the left side of the frame. These were available with two swivels mounted below the barrel and behind the trigger guard. Or with one swivel mounted on the left side of the frame like a sling ring. Wood is in very good condition with sharp edges and beautiful color. Bore and rifling are good with only a few spots of light surface rust. Barrel markings are legible with light wear.
