Olmec Jade Earth Monster Maskette (1200-900 BC)
This is an exquisite example of a Olmec Jade Dragon God, also known as the Earth Monster. There are 4 biconically drilled holes for suspension. The Olmec Dragon has flame eyebrows and a bulbous nose. When viewed from the front, the Olmec Dragon has trough-shaped eyes; when viewed in profile, the eyes are L-shaped.
