An attractive Chancay bichrome ceramic bowl, AD 800 - 1200, with a band of geometric decoration around the top of the vessel and two small vertically oriented lug handles. A nice vessel slipped white, the brown decor contrasting well. 2 3/4 x 5 in (6.9 x 12.7 cm). Light deposits and old collection number on bottom. Ex Philadelphia private collection.
