Chinese Ming Dynasty Chicken Bone Jade Water Pot carved in high relief with a phoenix neck, head, and wings around a floral shaped water container, the base carved as the bird's claw feet with a 4 character archaistic inscription carved in relief. With a custom pierced, carved and polished hard wood stand of rocks, lingzhi and flowers on a platform with 5 small feet. Height of jade 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm.) X width of jade 5 1/2 inches (14 cm.).
