LINDBERGH CHARLES: (1902-1974) American Aviator who made the first solo non-stop flight across the Atlantic Ocean, 20th - 21st May 1927. D.S., Lindbergh, in bold pencil, two pages, oblong folio, Glendale, California, 16th February 1930. The partially printed document is a page removed from the Airport Register at Curtiss-Wright Grand Central Air Terminal. Lindbergh has signed the document and further provided holograph details of the date and time of his arrival, his pilot's license number ('69'), the make of aircraft he was flying ('Falcon'), the airplane license number ('NC7455'), the number of crew and passengers ('1') and the place from where he has flown ('Santa Barbara'). The document also bears over forty other signatures, the majority in pencil, by various pilots who also landed at the air terminal between 1st - 17th February 1930, including Emory Bronte (1902-1982, American Pioneer Aviator who, with Ernie Smith, completed the first civilian non-stop flight from North America to the Hawaiian Islands, 1927), Dudley Steele (1892-1968, American Pioneer Aviator), Paul San Martino (1907-1976) etc. Some light overall age wear and minor creasing and with two file holes to the left edge, about VG
