Artwork is framed under mat and glass, dimensions are 13.5 inches by 16.5 inches under mat and 24.5 inches by 27.25 inches outside of frame. Provenance:The Keny Gallery, Columbus, Ohio. Note on tag states this item was swapped for another piece of artwork.Active in New England, Charles Salis Kaelin is known for forest painting-divisionism, graphics, and marine paintings. A passion for nature, Kaelin was considered a hermit painter keeping to himself. His artwork is exhibited in many museums and collections including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Butler Institute of American Art, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the Rockport Art Association; the Achenbach Foundation for Graphic Arts, ITT Corporation, amongst others. Charles Salis Kaelin art has sold for over $20,000 at auction. 1% of hammer price for all items sold at Masters of Art Volume II Art Series Auction will be donated to the Humane Society.
