Description
A nice Egyptian faience ushabti for Wah-ib-Re, Ptolemaic, c. 332 – 30 BC, depicted mummiform on integral base, wearing tripartite wig and false beard, arms folded at chest and holding a pick and hoe, basket over left shoulder and vertical plinth at back. Down front of torso and legs reads 'The Osiris, Wah-ib-Re’. H: 2 7/8 in (7.3 cm). A beautiful example with light blue glaze. Ex Harlen J. Berk; Ex Los Angeles private collection.
