US Army Aviator's 2 handled Kit Bag circa 1944, US Flag with 50 stars, Uniforms: 8 shirts, 5 pants, 3 caps, Paperwork including Air Corps ID folder, pilot log book, 1945-48 US Government Manuals for fighter gunnery, rocket firing dive bombing, air navigation, Air Reserve training and flight information to 1957, etc. PROVENANCE: Collection Robert S. Mercer (1925-2018) of Nashua New Hampshire, WWII Vet, a first Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps in the 318th Checker Tail Fighter Squad stationed in Italy, and flew P-40 and P-51 fighter planes.
