This is a magnificent pair of wingback lounge chairs designed by Viggo Boesen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk, c. 1940s. These early Danish mid-century chairs feature ribbed backs with exposed wood details including the elegantly shaped armrests. As a forerunner of Scandinavian modern design, these chairs have a versatile look that would seamlessly fit into both traditional and modern interiors.
