A unique collection of Civil War Memorabilia of Confederate Bonds, Confederate Postage, war orders of charges against rebels in Missouri, Union Senate hearings of Missouri, Confederate reparation orders towards Native Americans, Civil War reproduction photos and Map of Missouri, and a pre-Civil War Newspaper from 1855 in Washington DC. Items include:
A Confederate States of America number 12 used ten cents stamp.
Patriotic Envelopes of the Palmetto flag, which is South Carolina's state flag with the verse: “Southern Independence. We will defend it with our lives and fortunes”
An envelope with a racist caricature of a grinning African American man running in the direction of Jeff Davis, who stands with his head and wrists locked in stocks, with the verse 891: “Ha! Ha! Massa Jeff takes the last of the Confederate Stocks”
An envelope with confederate officer seated on a cotton bale with arms crossed and the words “Our Throne: Cotton defeated Packenham, and cotton will defeat 'Ape Lincoln.'" appearing below the image, and the words "C.S.A." appearing above the image.
Confederate Bonds from 1860 to 1862 including 1, 2, 3, 4, and 30-dollar bills, and a certificate of Authenticity.
Civil War department orders from the War Department of charges against military enemies in Missouri including, prison, hard labor, hanging, and death by shooting.
Civil War Senate hearings of expulsion of 2 Missouri senators who have defected to the Confederacy from the Union.
A Letter in 1863 from Jefferson Davis acting as president of the Confederacy in partnership with the Secretary of the Treasury of the confederacy of appropriations ‘required for the public service among the Indian tribes” of a total of $232,660.57 from the different Indian tribes including Cherokee, Choctaw, Osage, Comanche, and more.
A pre-Civil-War newspaper, ‘The Daily Union” from the City of Washington from March 3rd to March 25th, 1855. This newspaper includes messages from the President, information about railroads, land sales, telegraph messages, postage stamps, mail routes, and much more!
A reprint of ‘Lloyd’s Official Map Missouri. 1861’ in color. Lloyd's maps are especially interesting today for the informative advertisements and testimonials that the publisher unabashedly included on them.

Handwritten – Captn Jno. Jarratt, Huntsville, Yadkin Co., NC
Likely the Confederate soldier, John R. Jarratt who served with Company M, 16th North Carolina Infantry Regiment. There is no known record of his promotion from private to captain. However, it is likely he was related to the Confederate Captain Isaac Augustus Jarratt ( who served as a captain in Company C, 26th North Carolina Infantry Regiment who was also originally from Huntsville, Yadkin County, NC.
Handwritten – Ro: Tyler
Robert Tyler (1816 – 1877) was the eldest son of John Tyler, the tenth President of the United States, and Letitia Christian Tyler.
He served as the Confederate Register of the Treasury during the American Civil War. Previously, Tyler served as private secretary for his father's presidential administration. In later life, he served as the editor of the Montgomery Advertiser.
