A QUEEN ANNE GILT AND RED LACQUERED CHINOISERIE DECORATED TABLE WITH LATER CHAIR, THE TABLE 18TH CENTURY, the rectangular top with raised parcel-gilt and painted figures in Chinese style attire amidst a fantasy pavilion set beneath the branches of an ancient pine and a distant pyramid structure, above one side centering a maiden in long robes and carrying a parasol strolling between two far structures, opposite side panel centering paired geese flanked by traditional rural buildings and landscapes, alternating short side panels of foraging grouse within similar views, raised on cabriole legs with acanthus carved hips and ending on gilt foliage decorated circular pad feet, height: 30, width: 37 1/2", depth: 22 1/2"; together with a similarly lacquered and painted Queen Anne style tall back side chair with a double yolk crestrail above a trapezoidal drop-in seat upholstered in "phoenix" polychrome woven black ground silk, above cabriole legs and circular pad feet, height: 39 1/4", width: 21 1/4", depth: 17 1/2".

The table has expected wear for lacquered furniture of this age and use including but not limited to scratches, small chips, gilding wear, age cracks, repairs, restorations, touch-ups, losses, surface buildup, ring marks, and legs are in good restored condition and might be from a later date. The chair is probably 20th century and is in good shape with expected marks, scratches, chips, craqueleur and surface buildup.
