After Dr. Seuss - Sneetch sculpture maquette by Leo Rijn. This rare, original Dr. Seuss character sculpture model is by renowned artist, Leo Rijn. It is made of resin and has been meticulously hand painted. Several maquettes of various characters and Seussian scenes were created using original models as ideas for rides and attractions for the Dr. Seuss Landing theme park project, Universal Studios. This is one of the very few models that were created in the early stages during the development of the park. This is a one of a kind piece. The base platform measures approx. 5.25 x 4.5 x .75 inches wide. The Sneetch measures approx. 7 inches tall x 3 inches wide, by 4.5 inches long ( including the hot dog). The base rise measures 2 x 1.75 x 1.5 inches high.
