Cotton 1860's/1870's feathered stars quilt, all hand pieced and hand quilted, with cheddar and tan on a blue/green background and sawtooth border. It measures 80" X 90" and is in good/fair condition, with color mellowing in places and fabric deterioration in approximately 10-20% of the early chocolate brown back (mostly along the edges and fold lines). There are straight line and braided designs quilted throughout at 7 stitches to the inch. The back is a rich, early brown print, the hand stitched binding is the same green blue used in the interior, and the batting is thin.
