Item Details
Description
These are some of the earliest of kodak pictures (1880's) by Manufacturers of the Kodak Camera, The Eastman Company, Rochester N.Y. By far the most significant event in the history of amateur photography was the introduction of the Kodak #1 camera in 1888. Invented and marketed by George Eastman (1854 to 1932), a former bank clerk from Rochester, New York, the Kodak was a simple box camera that came loaded with a 100-exposure roll of film. All pictures are in very good condition. I believe they are photo's taken in Ohio based on the collection they are from. Picture of a girl holding what looks like a big doll or maybe a baby under a tree in winter. Another is a picture of a girl sewing. Picture of someones dog..., and 3 farm photo's one includes the outhouse. 5 1/4" by 4 1/4"
