ENGLISH TRANSFER-PRINTED TEA PARTY MOTIF CERAMIC COFFEE POT WITH COVER, of French Empire form with spout having molded foliate decoration and cover with cone-shaped finial, featuring red/pink transfer scene depicting a woman and man sitting at table for tea, the gentleman holding an abnormally long pipe and the woman with a book, and Pomeranian-like dog on the left. Having red-printed cartouche mark with "WS & Co / No 3 / Stafford Pottery" to underside. William Smith & Co., Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham, England. 1825-1855. 10 5/8" HOA.
