F-102 Canadian "Devil's Brigade" (First Special Service Force) grouping. Includes: (1) Canadian waist length O.D., two-pocket tunic. Embroidered winged parachute/gold star breast badge. Red arrowhead with embroidered "USA - CANADA" on upper left sleeve. Both shoulders have the embroidered "CANADA" shoulder flash and both sleeves have large Sergeant chevrons. Three red chevrons above right cuff denoting three years of service and three metal gold bars above left cuff indicating 18 months of o'seas service. Intertwined red/white/blue cord aigullette around left shoulder. Lining is stamped with a broad arrow within a "C", name of a Montreal manufacturer and dated "1943". (2) U.S. type o'seas hat, with an embroidered white on blue Parachutist Badge and white piped-in cord with red/blue "speckles". Tan leather sweatband and a silk type lining (water stained). (3) Canadian parachutist knife. Very similar to the British Fairbairn Sykes commando knife. One-piece darkened ribbed metal handle with a 6 7/8" darkened stiletto type blade. Unusual leather sheath with a wide flap and adjustable strap to allow the knife to be buckled around the lower forearm. Reverse is stamped "Knife, Parachutist, Sleeve - Scabbard, Mk1 H-Sheffield M45". (4) WWII Period O.D. cloth covered 10" x 10" board with related insignia: (A) Original insignia - "US" and crossed arrows collar discs, "CANADA" and crossed arrows collar discs and a single crossed arrows collar insignia with four loops on the reverse. (B) Reunion/commemorative insignia. Eight enameled collar devices, one crossed arrows, and two embroidered uniform insignia. All items in fine condition. I
