Steiff 2004 Limited Edition Classic "Oliver" Mohair Teddy Bear (1 of 4000) - This Steiff Classic Teddy Bear was lovingly hand-made in Germany in 2004. This is a limited edition "Oliver" bear which was limited to only 4000 pieces. Oliver is based on the design of a 1905 classic Teddy from the collection of Barbara Lauver, and his turn of the century details include a fuzzy, untrimmed muzzle and feet and paws with five claws. From 1905 onward, Steiff only produced bears with four claws or less, so this 2004 five clawed bear is truly unique. This teddy is made out of mohair, fully jointed, has black glass eyes. Numbered 038297 and 02338 on the tag. Measurements: 11" x 17".
