Bohemian glass; decorative pair with reverse painted portraits of a man and woman.
Collectible gift set with cranberry red coloration and gilt accents; scalloped edges. Salts were an intrinsic part of the Georgian dining table that were usually made in pairs, one for each end of the table. These stunning, glass decorated salts were very often made as an expensive wedding gift for a bride and groom. Age related wear; chips to edges.
