Remarkable Jacqueline Kennedy Age 16 Signed Photograph with Her Roommate

A large, black and white photograph, measuring 10" x 8", no place [Farmington, Connecticut], dated "winter 1945". Jackie, age 16, and her roommate Sue Norton beam for the camera, wearing light colored blouses with rolled-up sleeves and grey wool skirts. Each girl has signed a message to their friend, Betty, on their blouse in blue ink. Jacking's message reads: "Dear Betty. This -> [here she has drawn a large heart] is brimming over with love for you. Lots of love/Jackie XO." On verso, the handwritten caption reads: "Sue Norton and Jacky [sic] Bouvier (roommates) of Brick III in the winter term of 1945." The photograph has minor bumping, wear, and soiling at the edges and corners. Boldly signed by Jackie.
