This cotton 20's/30's lavender and white double nine patch/postage stamp quilt is precisely machine pieced and hand quilted, with 1" postage stamp pieces, diamond border, and scalloped edge. It measures a generous 80" X 92" and is in excellent, never washed condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The quilting is SUPERB, with close grid, straight line, and cable designs quilted throughout at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch with faint pencil marks still visible. The back is a nice chambray solid coral/salmon cotton fabric, the hand stitched binding is the same solid lavender used in the interior, and the batting is thin. whatever your screen may show, the background is a pure, snowy white.
