Description

An early Dutch barometer with broken arch pediment over a pewter faced engraved scale with an urn finial marked G.B. - also, maker's name engraved on base of scale "Gebr. Bazerga / Rotterdam". Missing 2 pieces of molding on plinth, veneer loss on plinth, side piece of molding missing on right side of pediment, otherwise good condition - see photos for more information. 6"W x 40"H x 3 1/2" deep. Early 19th century. Note - barometer sold without reserve - it has not been verified for performance or accuracy and is sold as non-working.
