She is best known for her work ‘Little Women’, but also published works such as ‘Little Men’ that she is also remembered for. ‘Little Men’ is a work set in the same world as ‘Little Women’, with the return of notable characters, but it was inspired by the death of her brother in law.
This rare first American edition was printed in Boston in 1871 and features first printing points – see below.
