Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong douqing glazed porcelain water pot. The porcelain potted with a bulbous body, slighty ovoid, of a deep vessel, with a narrow opening lip, raised on a small flat round base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in Douqing hand painting, all reserved in pale green celadon under glazed ground, the green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human pale white skin. Masterfully covered in an even coat of a pale green glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The deep green glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The foot rim reveals the cut edges during the making process, and the receded central interior base left white underglaze.The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. Mark on under base, a six under glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
