A beautiful 97.21% gold pendant with avian iconography, perhaps a depiction of "Shahbaz," the royal falcon that appeared on the royal flag of the Achaemenid Persian Empire, delineated in repousse. The profiled avian creature appears to have outstretched wings and a feathered tail. A lovely 'beaded' border surrounds the pendant which is suspended from a modern cord to be wearable!
