WINSTON Winner Tire AM TRANSISTOR RADIO. Circa late 1960s-early 1970s. Made in Hong Kong. Working, very good condition, with original hand strap. Completely different design and function, and smaller size than other Tire radios; similar to the “Tyre” Radio in the other group. Another extremely unique radio.  4” diameter. GETTY Tire AM Transistor Radio with Stand, Original Box, Instructions & Warranty Card. Circa early to mid 1970s. New mint condition. British Design Reg. No. 970209 Distributed by Premium Resources International, Made in Hong Kong. It works, tested and picked up Radio Stations. Tuning and volume are controlled by separate wheel nuts on the front. Approximate Size: 5"W x 2"D (without stand). Radio is in excellent condition. The little stand has a Getty decal on one side. Decal has some very slight peeling on bottom. Lettering is in good condition, however there is some slight discoloration on white part of label. The box is intact, but does have some wear with creases, scuffs and worn edges and corners.
