A German faience powdered-manganese-ground five vase garniture
mid 18th century
Comprising a baluster vase and cover, two beaker vases and two ovoid vases and covers.

Condition
Not examined under UV light. General marks, wear, firing and glazing imperfections commensurate with age and use. Two ovoid vases with a hairline body crack measuring approximately 2" and 3 1/8" long located at foot rim. The baluster vase (pictured to the center) with a D-shaped section of rim re-stuck with traces of old over-paint measuring 3 5/8" across rim and 1 1/8" at deepest point. One beaker vase with a hairline crack across foot which extends vertically 8" into body.
One cover with old restoration; broken in half and re-stuck, with a smaller slither section of rim re-stuck at each terminal of the break, with glue residue to exterior and underside . Another cover with a flat chip to underside edge of rim measuring approximately 5/8".
