SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. – The third and final auction of rock concert posters from the estate of Perry Pfeffer (circa 1949-2020), visionary founder of Postercade, will be held at Stephenson’s Auction’s suburban Philadelphia gallery on Sunday, December 11. This auction, which consisted of more than 300 lots, featured numerous collections, including property from the estates of George David Sturges and Melinda Wayne Munoz alongside estate property from Utah, Arizona and California. Leading the sale were works by Logan Maxwell Hagege and a New West Furniture Co. Molesworth-Style sofa from the Gregory Sierra collection.

DALLAS – A hand-colored Calvin and Hobbes Sunday strip from May 24, 1987, sold for $480,000 at Heritage Auctions to set a new auction record for Bill Watterson and his beloved creations. That price also ties the record for the most valuable original newspaper strip ever sold at auction.
