NEW HAMBURG, Canada – Rolex ruled the roost in Miller & Miller Auctions, Ltd.’s online-only Luxury Watches sale, as 14 of the top 20 finishing lots were products of the renowned Swiss watchmaker. The top earner was a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, Ref. 116515, a model introduced in 1963 to meet the demands of race car drivers. It sold within estimate for $54,870. Overall, the 78-lot auction grossed a robust $418,959. All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars.

DALLAS – An Omega Speedmaster watch soared beyond pre-auction expectations when it sold for a record $765,000 to lead Heritage Auctions’ Fine Watches & Timepieces Signature® Auction June 1. The sale totaled $3,352,567, with 1,117 bidders vying for the event’s 210 lots.
