Quality items as described but being in the rig shipping business, $70 is pretty steep just for packing with no shipping included.

How great to have the option of in-house shipping!! However, I felt the cost was slightly exorbitant although worth it for the convenience. My item arrived well-packaged but packed with HUNDREDS of PACKING PEANUTS. I can forgive the mess made as I unpacked my item. What is inexcusable is the inattention by the shipper/auction house to so many negative issues involving the packing material. Why are they still using this?? In the meantime, I bagged up the peanuts in an extra-large multi-gallon bag, researched where the heck they can be recycled and will next drive to, hopefully be recycled. So, shame on them and shame on me if using this process in the future.

BUYER BEWARE: ITEMS BROKEN WHEN RECEIVED

I was very unhappy with the first shipping quote I received, but after speaking with two very helpful employees, the cost of the shipping was adjusted. The pair of lamps I purchased showed lamp shades in the auction photo. I was given a choice after I won the lamps, if I wanted to pay a huge surcharge ($150.00) for the lamp shades to be shipped. The employee that helped me, was very honest, and said not to pay for the lamp shades to be shipped. They were just basic lamp shades, nothing special. I totally appreciated her honesty, and did not have the lamp shades sent. I was disappointed in the fact, that I thought the lamp shades were included in the purchase price of the lamps. Lampshades are expensive, but I chose to save the $150 in shipping and will purchase lamp shades myself. I did not have any idea that the lamp shades would not be comparable to the quality of the lamps I purchased. It still took almost two weeks to receive my lamps, after I paid for the lamps and shipping. I know in December that deliveries can be slow due to Christmas time, but I was surprised how long it took for me to receive my lamps.

I am obviously happy to have won the auction. However I was very shocked to see that I would have to pay nearly $50 for two small cloth dolls. I buy and sell often on sites like ebay and typical shipping costs are approximately $10 for the two rag dolls i purchased. There is no feasible reason for spending this much money to mail two cloth Raggefy Ann dolls! Instead of shipping UPS, ship USPS and ask for the best rate! The USPS recommends the best shipping method and always provides a tracking number AND ensures shipping. I always look at Leland for antique Raggedy Annbitems. But after this experience with shipping, I will definitely be cautious about bidding in the future!

Item delivered but was not exactly as described, was professionally and quickly solved, great communication.

The place they recommend for shipping is so so very over priced. They wanted more than I have ever been charged. I have been buying for over 25 years and never been charged that much.

Easy transaction, would do business with them again

They're set up well for online transactions. Invoice is paid online via a form, and shipping quotes are paid directly as well. In-house shipping option is a huge help as I don't have to call around and coordinate with shippers separately.
