Condition is consistent with age. Extreme craquelure runs throughout entire painting. It will need to be cleaned up by a professional restorer. There is visible marking around entire piece, which is consistent with years of resting on stretchers. There are four visible patches on back left side of canvas. Under black light there is visible in-painting throughout, specifically on proper right side (on shoulder), and the proper left side of canvas, from top to about breast height. There are several areas of paint loss, which have been painted over on all four sides. On the front side of the two middle patches, there appears to be some canvas bubbling. The frame also shows signs of spotting and gold loss.
