WILHELMUS ANTONIUS FABER (SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, ACTIVE 1790-1818), ATTRIBUTED OR FOLLOWER OF, FOLK ART CUT-WORK / SCHERENSCHNITTE BIRTH RECORD, watercolor and ink on paper, center medallion inscribed for Rosanna Witmer, born June 11, 1815, surrounded by brightly colored birds and flowers topped with a bowknot, on a black fabric ground. Housed under glass in a period, red-painted, blocked-corner frame. Circa 1815. 11 3/4" x 13 1/2" OA.
Very good condition with some staining/toning, heaviest at the outer edges. Not examined out of frame.
