Cleveland, Grover, Signed Indictment as Governor of New York for the Apprehension of Individual for the Crime of Libel Dated Jan. 4, 1883 (1837-1897) Signed indictment 16 x 10" bifolium, by Grover Cleveland as Governor of New York to the Governor of the State of Connecticut for the apprehension of a George Isaacs wanted for libel dated Jan. 4, 1883. Executive Chamber warrant has bound within the folio by blue ribbon at least 7 pages, some notarized, regarding the filings and evidently a text which caused the lawsuit. In very good condition with only a bit of fraying to ribbon and scratches to one of the gold seals and having very little toning.
