This large-format albumen print features a popular engraving of General Ulysses S. Grant, his wife Julia, and their four children. Thought to have been produced during the 1868 election cycle, this particular example is tastefully embossed “Grant Family.” Of note is the capitol dome looming over the soon-to-be-President. Condition is excellent.
