Description
Original acyclic on paper of two sections of the infamous Berlin Wall with graffiti that was known to cover it. This framed original is approx 22" x 1" x 18 ". The original on paper is approx 16" x 11 x 3/4". Framed art is in good, used condition with some wear on the frame. Also comes with a program from the show this painting was purchased from at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum in Winter Park, Florida. Robin Van Arsdol is an artist, critic, curator, collector. He studied Master of Arts and dedicated the simple form and paintings. The intention of his art is announcement and communication. On one hand, he achieves this by script elements in his paintings but also by the simple forms and borderlines. From the graffitied walls of Soho, NY to the fashionable streets of Milan, Italy, Robin VanArsdol (R.V.) is well known throughout the art world. His symbolic imagery reveals an inner passion to share his fears, thoughts, and hope for humanity. Using naive silhouette images, R.V. produces works of art that express social commentary.
