Description
This lot contains a pair of World War 2 era Sextant instruments. One was made by Kelvin & Wilfrid O White Company and was inspected by The National Physical Laboratory on March 20th, 1944. The sextant appears to be in fine original condition. The second example made by Henry Hughes & Son Ltd is currently in dissembled condition. The inside box document indicates it was last inspected on September 25th, 1942. Each wood box measures approximately 11 by 10.5 by 5.5 inches.
