On the title page "For Connie andBill" (Consuelo Joerns and Bill Brandt, presumably). On the index page there are notes written in pencil about two of the characters, Piglet Rossetti (The Sinister Agatha) is written "Nickname for Patricia Maxim, a friend of Connie's @ Mills College 1943-44", and Charlotte Courtois/ Chagrin Charlcourt > The Same Person is written "=Connie". The last page typed at the bottom is dated January - June 1945. There is also a photocopy of an envelope mailed to Mrs. Helen G.Gorey from Stephen Crest, postmark date Jan 26 1946, Tooele, Utah. Also, includes a typed letter dated 5/21/45 "Darling, if you don't run off hundreds of these, legally or not, you're no sibling of mine. Better check. delieriously, Mme.Courtois, (sinister Consuelo, alias Chagrin Courtois). Provenance; the estate of Consuelo Joerns.
