Model 1855, inscribed 'WCK' on the 40 in. round barrel as well as 'US 58' on the stock and 'Harper's Ferry' on the side plate. Produced immediately prior to the Civil War, one of the finest examples in this collection. Very impressive original condition, metal has some minor corrosion throughout but overall extremely presentable with the wood stock and frame in good overall condition also.
