MAKUZU KOZAN (1842-1912): A FINE PORCELAIN VASE WITH BLOSSOMING WISTERIA
Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912)
The baluster-shaped vase with a very bulbous body is decorated in underglaze iron red with a resist design of blossoming wisteria. The mark on the base reads: Kozan, Makuzu Kiln.
HEIGHT 23 cm
Condition: Very good condition, minor wear to some areas of the glaze.
Provenance: Austrian private collection.
