A graphite and crayon sketch on heavy stock laid paper, unsigned but attributed to del Sarto in matting. Inscribed Cinoli lower center, and containing a pair of collector's marks on reverse; 16.5 x 10.25 in.
The work includes extensive purchase history on verso, and this includes: Ex Collection of John Quinn, who acquired the piece from a sale of the Collection of Max Goldstein, noted collector of Old Master drawings. The sale was held by the American Art Association in 1920. Also a label from Plohn & Co., New York.
