Circa 18th century AD A set of four hinged plaques with Cyrillic epigraphic cartouches to the front face, scene of Calvary with view of Jerusalem, foliage motifs and text; the interior plates with scenes from the life of Christ including nativity, entry into Jerusalem and crucifixion. Bronze, 775 grams, 16 cm (6 1/4") Private collection, UK; acquired in the 1990's.
