(Universal, 1998) An original production maquette from Small Soldiers of the cyclopean Gorgonite, Scratch-It. Constructed of cast resin, the maquette components were created by Stan Winston Studio and provided to ILM to create digital models of the character for animation. Later, the maquette was expertly assembled, painted, and finished by ILM FX artist Paul Theren, who worked on the film. Theren also created a custom base for the piece, the bottom of which bears his handwritten information. Measuring 15"x12" and 4.5" deep with a 2.25"x16.25" and 10.25" deep base, the maquette is in very good condition with only minor surface wear and spot paint loss.
