Description
Very Good Pond pocket revolver chambered in .32 rimfire as manufactured in Worcester, Massachusetts circa 1863. The Pond Revolver was a patent infringement of the Rollin White DRILLED THROUGH CYLINDER Patent owned by Smith and Wesson. By court order all Ponds made after the law suit had to be stamped with Smith and Wesson information as well. The guns thus sold went to pay the restitution. This is one of those guns. These weapons were very popular during the Civil War. 100% original. 100% complete including the screw driver in the butt. The action cocks but the cylinder does not index. -----------------------------------------------------
