BLACKBERRY STAND LAMP, brilliant teal green font, alabaster/clambroth Baroque base, brass connector, No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with a Wilmot Manuf. Co. No. 1 slip burner, thumbwheel stamped "THE WILMOT M'F'G. CO. / BRIDGEPORT CT", and encircling chimney holder "PAT. SEP. 19. 1865. / OCT. 4. 25. 1870", period acid etched slip chimney with stylized floral band and ten-petal top. Third quarter 19th century. 8 3/4" H to top of collar, 3 5/8" SQ base.

Provenance: From the collection of Abigail and the late Edward Meyer of Plantsville, CT.

Condition

Font undamaged, foot with three bruises and several minor to moderate flakes, connector with some minute dents. Burner with some minor losses, repairs and light denting, chimney fitter with a minor flake.
