Description
DECORATED STAND LAMP, blue alabaster pyriform font with applied red beading, polychrome and gilt decoration, opaque white Lace/Gem with Leaf base, brass connector, No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a Bridgeport Brass Co. "Leader" rectangular-form lip burner, thumbwheels stamped "BRIDGEPORT BRASS CO LEADER" and under base "PAT'D JUNE 1. 69 / SEPT. 18. 77", 7 1/8" stamped shade ring, opaque white cone-form shade with flared top, and an appropriate rectangular-form chimney with flattened sides. Third quarter 19th century. 19 3/8" H to top of shade, 11 5/8" H to top of collar, 5" SQ base. Shade 5 3/4" H, 7" D fitter.
