Description
CHIEFTAIN STAND LAMP, colorless font, opalescent double-step base, brass connector, No. 1 fine line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a Plume & Atwood central draft burner, thumbwheel marked "THE P & A M'F'G CO VICTOR", 2 3/4" stamped brass shade ring, and a frosted and engraved ball-form shade with panel pattern. Non-period slip chimney. Shade probably Mt. Washington Glass Co. Third quarter 19th century. 19 1/4" H to top of shade, 11 5/8" H to top of collar, 4 1/2" SQ base. Shade 6 1/2" H, 2 3/4" D base.

Font undamaged, base with cracks and flakes. Connector and burner coronet with some light denting, shade fitter with minor flakes/roughness, chimney undamaged.
