Description

NP Ames Springfield double edge sword with leather scabbard. This sword was found in a Victorian mansion in Nyack belonging to the Mann family, Mr Mann was a direct descendant from General Jonas Mann, General of the Vermont State Militia, General Mann was born in 1771, and died in 1831, General Mann's masonic apron is listed under lot # 176 in this catalog. Rust is visible on the blade, scabbard is worn, but not ripped or rotted. Toatl length is 25.25", blade is 19 2/8"
