Description

Louis Philippe Alabaster Gothic Revival Clock, third quarter 19th century, the clock with gothic piercing and a carved fret surmounting the top, mounted with an enamel dial and a gilt-bronze bezel decorated with classical figures, h. 19", w. 9", d. 4-3/4".

Condition

There are small losses to the left and right outside steeples (above the side columns). Old glued repairs to the top front foliate finial. An old hairline crack across the front carved molding in the base. Minor stains and discoloration. The circular access door to the movement on the back side is gone. Good detail throughout.
